“The Visual Mind Software Development Kit (SDK) allows third party developers, system integrators and users of Visual Mind to create plug-in modules that extends the functionality of Visual Mind.”
Nice … MindManager plug-ins are already being ported to visual mind.
A free webinar from Roger C. Parker. I’ve been fortunate to have taken part in his webinars in the past and can tell you that this will probably both inspire and inform you.

If you don’t already have Chuck Frey’s “Power Tools & Strategies for Mind Mapping Software,” it looks like this week is the time to buy it.
The Mind Mapping Software Weblog: Price reduced on my new e-book for one week only
In line with that mission, I have decided to reduce the price of my new e-book from $29.95 to $9.95, for one week only. This special price will only last until 11:59 p.m. Central U.S. time on Monday, October 1, 2007.
Don’t miss the chance to participate in Chuck’s research. The results will be immensely useful and interesting.
Please participate in my new survey of web-based mind mapping tools
To better understand how people are utilizing these tools and what the potential impact of this type of online tool is likely to be, I’ve decided to conduct a brief survey on this technology.

4.1.0.9 - Speed and Reliability - TheBrain Technologies Message Board
This release includes the biggest speed optimization we have done yet and significant reliability improvements. Plus, there are several fixes to the UI of the tools layout. Highly recommended and worth upgrading if you are using the beta.

Tinderbox 4 has been updated. Even the point-point releases of this software make me drool.
Mark Bernstein: Tinderbox 4.0.1
Despite the small version bump, it’s got some important infrastructure. Get it. As usual, you can upgrade from any previous version for $90, and it’s free if you upgraded in the past year.
- Notes and Agents check syntax of rules and actions
- Comparison and equality operators in actions are more flexible
- New numerical operator for modulo arithmetic
- More control over inheritance of prototype children
- Better handling of email sent to Tinderbox
Lots of other improvements and fixes, too. See the release notes, in the Help menu.
This is nice to have at a higher level of geekery. Now you can have all of your to do items from all of your mind maps exported instantly into a format that is understood by org-mode, a fantastic organizer that runs in Emacs. See the Tools page to download the latest version of the MindManager To Do Extractor.

The latest version of this handy utility, available in our Tools section, formats the output a bit more nicely & lets you specify a list of files to ignore.

Great news. The existing version of NovaMind for Windows is the best hand-drawn / artistic mind map analog I’ve seen yet. Not only do they design great software, but all of the dealings I’ve had with NovaMind sales and support so far have been a pleasure.
